• I have been so busy that I haven't put the time into this website that I should, however, I get lots of emails over it. I would like to announce that I am writing a regular music column for the Scotch-Irish Society of the United States of America. I urge anyone interested in their Scotch-Irish heritage to join this organization. I disagree with some of their feelings about early Scots in Ireland not being true Scotch-Irish, but I have been a proud member since 1996.

  I'd also like to announce that I have had six articles accepted by Highlander magazine, three of which have been published and three waiting in the cue.

  Finally, I'd like to recommend Senator Jim Webb's book on our race called "Born Fighting". He uses the term Scots-Irish, which is a more modern adaption of the true name, Scotch-Irish. For that he is forgiven because his book is probably the best analysis I've ever seen. His writings mirror my own in many ways and if I didn't know better, I'd say he read my stuff while writing his. HaHa, maybe that's why I like it so much.
